How I Approach Therapy
Therapy is most helpful when it is a collaborative, enlightening, and empowering process of self-discovery and transformation. Healthy dashes of humor and levity don’t hurt, either. My style is down-to-earth, nonjudgmental, direct, intuitive, and playfully engaging. It is informed by years of clinical experience, active involvement in post-licensure education and training, and professional mentorship from some of the world’s leading sex therapists and authors on sex and sexuality, Drs. Marty Klein and Margaret Nichols.
What Happens in Therapy
In therapy, you are welcomed into a safe and serene environment within which you are supported to observe and work through difficult thoughts, uncomfortable feelings, and unhelpful patterns in your life. I’ll ask you important questions you’ve likely not yet asked yourself, and I’ll introduce you to new perspectives that can fundamentally change how you approach problem solving. Throughout your therapeutic journey, you’re supported in thinking of yourself and your concerns differently, where change might be much easier to achieve than you expected. I invite you to look forward to exploring new ways of crafting your most fulfilling life, both in and out of the bedroom!
